تحلیل جامعهشناختی تعیینکنندههای احساس یأس و ناامیدی در بین سالمندان شهر اهواز |

امروزه کمابیش در تمام جوامع پدیدۀ سالمندی مسئلهای مهم به شمار میرود و مسائل سالمندان و فراگرفتن سیاستگذاریهای بایسته دربارۀ آنها یک نگرانی مشترک جهانی است. از سوی دیگر، احساس یأس و ناامیدی در سالمندان ازجمله مشکلات فراگیر آنهاست که افزایش امید سالمندان، سلامت جسمانی و ارتباطات اجتماعی ایشان را تا اندازه زیادی تحتالشعاع قرار میدهد. هدف پژوهش حاضر، تحلیل تعیینکنندههای اجتماعی و فرهنگی مؤثر بر احساس یأس و ناامیدی در میان سالمندان شهر اهواز است. در این پژوهش، 370 نفر از سالمندان شهر اهواز با بهکارگیری روش نمونهگیری خوشهای چندمرحلهای بهعنوان حجم نمونه انتخاب شدند. نتایج نشان داد بین تعیینکنندههای اجتماعی و فرهنگی و احساس ناامیدی سالمندان رابطۀ معناداری وجود دارد و 30% از این احساس بهواسطۀ متغیرهای تعیینکنندۀ اجتماعی و فرهنگی تبیین و پیشبینی میشود. همچنین، حمایت اجتماعی و سرمایۀ اجتماعی به ترتیب بیشترین تأثیر را بر احساس یأس و سالمندان داشتند. بر این پایه، پرداختن به مسائل و نیازهای سالمندان و دورۀ سالمندی بهعنوان یکی از برجستهترین دستاوردهای توسعه، ضرورتی اجتماعی است. همچنین، بررسی رفتارهای مرتبط با تندرستی و کیفیت زندگی اجتماعی آنان ازجمله احساس یأس و ناامیدی، موضوع مهمی است که نیازمند سیاستهای علمی، اجتماعمحور و بنیادی است.

Sociological analysis of the determinants of despair and hopelessness among the elderly in Ahvaz city |

Nowadays, the aging phenomenon is an important issue in almost all societies. In fact, the issues of the elderly and the adoption of correct policies regarding them have now become a common global concern. On the other hand, the feeling of hopelessness and despair in the elderly is one of their common problems, which greatly affects the hope of the elderly, their physical health, and their social relationships. The aim of the current research is to analyze the social and cultural determinants affecting the feeling of hopelessness and despair among the elderly in Ahvaz city. In this research, 370 elderly people from Ahvaz city were selected as the sample size using multi-stage cluster sampling method. Data analysis was done on two descriptive and inferential levels using SPSS version 24 software and Structural model Pls. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between social and cultural determinants and the feeling of despair and despair of the elderly and 30% of the despair and despair of the elderly are explained and predicted by social and cultural determinant variables. The results of the research show that the social support variable with a beta coefficient of 0.40 is the most influential factor on the despair and despair of the elderly, and then the social capital factor with a beta coefficient of 0.21 has the greatest impact on the despair and despair of the elderly as a dependent variable of the research. In addition, the results of this study showed that the more the social factors including social support, social capital, socioeconomic base and living arrangements among the elderly improve, the level of hopelessness and despair among them decreases. |
